The Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports, Iliesa Delana, visited the Nasinu Youth club in Labasa yesterday.
The Assistant Minister met members of the youth group to hear their views and concerns about youth development during his tour in the Northern Division.
The visit is to encourage and motivate youth club members to become productive and be knowledgeable on the types of Government services available to them particularly through the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Delana further reiterated Government’s commitment in encouraging young men and women to become productive and vibrant future leaders.
Nasinu Youth Club Vice President, Diren Chand, said the club was pleased with the Assistant Minister’s visit and they are now looking forward to working closely with the Ministry and doing projects in the areas of agriculture like bee and yaqona farming as well as screen printing for the young women.
