Scrolls fashioned from masi provided at the ‘My FNPF Centre’, are now covered in messages and drawings from the young and old, and the general public at large.
The messages are intended for world leaders attending the “UN Climate Change Conference” in Bonn, Germany next month.
FNPF Chief Operating Officer – Jaoji Koroi, presented the scrolls to the Executive Director of the COP23 Presidency Secretariat – John Connor, yesterday.
Koroi adds that the use of ‘masi’, symbolizes the seriousness of the climate change issue to Fijians, given that ‘masi’ is a precious commodity for locals.
He said FNPF is proud to be associated with initiatives, that are aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for Fijians and Pacific Island nations.
