The High Court has ordered the de-registration of the proposed Greens Party.
This has been confirmed to Fiji One News by the proposed party leader Bernadette Rounds Ganilau.
The decision was handed down after the proposed party failed to meet the requirements of the Political Parties Decree.
Round-Ganilau also confirmed that in accordance with section 4 of the Decree, all assets of the proposed party have been seized and handed over to the state.
The proposed party had failed to register within the required 28 days which led to its de-registration.
Rounds-Ganilau says she will respect the decision of the court.
