Scouts from Wellington Hurricanes are in the country to recruit players for the next season.

Hurricanes General Manager High Performance Chris Stirling and Recruitment Officer Darren Larsen had a good chat with the Queen Victoria School Under 18 head coach Anare Masi during the team’s training run at the USP grounds in Laucala.

According to Masi – the duo has shown interest in few of their players and more talks will take place after the finals tomorrow.

Masi says players will be approached first and may sign the contract to join the Hurricanes Rugby Academy and the opportunity to get into the Hurricanes Super Rugby training squad.

Stirling and Larsen will be at ANZ Stadium watching the finals tomorrow.
