The Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Josefa Koroivueta has been making the visitations all of this week to visit western division.
According to Dr. Koroivueta, the motive of the visit was to enable him to have face-to-face discussions with the ministry staff.
He stated that it was essential for all government officials to be aware and familiarize themselves with the values for Civil Services and the Fijian Government’s aim.
Dr. Koroivueta also said his visit would provide an opportunity for field officers to report any hurdles they face and discuss ways to address those challenges which will improve the Ministry’s achievements for this year.
He reiterated to the officers for them to look forward to another year of great achievements with the concomitant pledge to do better each and every day and always keeping in mind the core values of compassion, honesty and integrity in providing their services.
