Princess Anne to visit Vanuatu

 

eight_col_PRINCESS_ANNEPrincess Anne is reported to be visiting Vanuatu next month.

The Vanuatu Independent reports the general manager of the Warwick Le Legon Resort, Jeremy Walsh, saying the princess will arrive at his hotel on the October the 24th for a five-day visit.

Mr Walsh says the visit is in conjunction with the Emerging Pacific Leaders Dialogue, where young leaders from across the region will present plans for the long-term development and stability of the region to the Princess Royal.

The newspaper says it will her first visit to Vanuatu since 1974, and is expected to generate a great deal of excitement in Tanna, where some people worship her father, Prince Philip, as a god.
