Ryan maps out plans for Series finish

sevens1The Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has mapped out his plans for when the World Sevens Series finishes off in London in a fortnights time.

Ryan – who flew off to London today believes there is a lot of work to be done if the side qualifies for the Olympic Games.

He’s expecting to meet up with the European and French clubs to discuss the release of the some of the players for the Rio 2016 Games in Brazil.

“Just got some time off from rugby and will spent time with families and friends and also at the same time will go and meet some clubs and meet with the officials but its not all, as I said before i will make the team for Olympic with majority of the boys from the Island but only at some places we still have to decide,” said Ben Ryan the Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach.

But first up for Ryan is winning the Scotland 7s to set a better platform for the side as they march into the final tournament in London to conclude the 2014/2015 season.

“Fiji is in the pool of Eruopean teams and I believe we are in tough pool, then it will be either New Zealand, South Africa or Kenya in the quarterfinal and it will get tougher but we have to be on our game from the first game to keep the mometum in the tournament next week.”
