By: Stella Taoi

KoyaThe Industry and Trade Minister – Faiyaz Koya has called on the opposition, to stop misleading the public – while criticizing the government’s schemes to assist it’s people.

Koya expressed his disappointment on the responses from the opposition, on the policies and programs of the Bainimarama government.

“Honorable Bulitavo alleged that the permanent secretary stated that the Ministry was having difficulty in monitoring the Micro and Small Business Grants. This is an in and out fabrication concocted by the Honorable Bulitavo. In fact the PS himself is involved in spearheading the monitoring evaluation and motoring program for all our grant recipients.

“The Ministry has gone to the extent of cross checking with all official communications pertaining to all these parliamentary retreat last month and confirms that Hon. Bulitavo has misled this august house with his rhetoric on Monday and he should stop misinforming the Fijian public,” Minister of Industry and Trade- Faiyaz Koya.

He adds that while the Bainimarama government’s aim is for no Fijian to be left behind, the opposition fails to see the big picture.

Koya is calling out on the opposition to go out and meet the people instead of always criticizing government.
