While officiating at TFL’s Building Team 2020: Strategic and Business Excellence Awards, the Minister for Economy says the idea was to get the right market and salary structure to boost performance of the organisation.

“Your job evaluation exercise has been completed and I understand all of you are getting a pay rise. The board has approved the increment, which I understand is in excess of $1 million, which will be effective from next week,” Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

There were more than 15 awards presented last night.

The AG also highlighted the enormous potential Fiji had in the Information and Communication Technology sector, and called on TFL to capitalise on this to assist in the growth of the Fijian economy.
