Tripartite parties await March

An agreement has been reached between Government, the Fiji Trades Union Congress and the Fiji Commerce Employers Federation on a joint implementation report.

The report was officially signed by the three parties late Friday night and will be submitted to the ILO governing body.

“Usually the individual country cases are normally heard on the second week of the governing body so we’re expecting Fiji to come up on the agenda sometime after the mid of March” said Felix Anthony – General Secretary FTUC
