Manueli Tulo and Apolonia Vaivai will look at cementing their build up to the Commonwealth Games with a top 10 finish at the IWF World Weightlifting Championships (WC’s) in Anaheim USA, later this week.
The pair travelled to the United States with National Coach Joe Vueti over the weekend and are in good spirits.
Manueli Tulo will compete in the 56Kg at the World Championships on the 30th November at 11am Fiji Time. He will return to Fiji immediately after his competition and join the Team Fiji Charter to Port Vila, Vanuatu where he will compete at the Pacific Mini Games on the 5th December.
Apolonia Vaivai will compete in the 69Kg weight category in the WC on the 2nd December at 7am Fiji Time. She will return just in time to compete at the Pacific Mini Games on the 6th December.
